VIDEO: CFL Veteran All-Star, Nik Lewis on Recovery and Vector450
We caught up with Nik Lewis CFL All-Star Wide Receiver in Texas this past week to talk and about his injury and recovery while on Vector450. Nik has been a Vector450 champion since he started taking the immune recovery product at spring training 2013.
A broken fibula took Nik Lewis out of the line up during a game against the BC Lions August 17, 2013. The recovery time would normally be six weeks however for Nik, the injury was further aggravated by torn ligament which his doctors had forecast mid-December to begin running again. Nik’s not one to take it sitting down especially since 250 of his fellow CFL players (all non-Stampeders) in 2012 voted Nik as “Toughest to Bring Down” out of all other players in the league. Needless to say, the cast came off in 2 weeks – four weeks sooner. Fast forwarding to November 17 – doctors, coaches and fans alike are amazed to see Nik suited for the final game against Saskatchewan Roughriders prior to the following week’s Grey Cup Championship.
Nik is a 10 year veteran with the CFL. His career started with Calgary Stampeders in 2004 and during that same year, was named the CFL Rookie of the Year. Since then there’s been no looking back. He continued to his career with the Stampeders earning a Grey Cup Championship ring in 2008 and has been awarded the CFL All Star title for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Our man, Trevor Dyck with Vector450 sat down with Nik about his injury and recovery, his regime with Vector450 and spring training 2014.
